Comments

Simply fit an ROI to the peak/artefact in question and it will be replaced by an interpolated background.

System Requirements
Should be compatible with all GMSes and Windows versions. Tested on GMS 2.3 running under Windows 7.
Known Issues
The fitting entails creating virtual regions of interest (ROIs) on either side of the drawn ROI. The background fit is a straight line fitted between the mid-points of the adjacent virtual ROIs. The intensities of the fitting points are the mean of the virtual ROIs. The fit restricted the the drawn ROI.
Supported
Yes.
