Simply fit an ROI to the peak/artefact in question and it will be replaced by an interpolated background. |
System Requirements |
Should be compatible with all GMSes and Windows versions. Tested on GMS 2.3 running under Windows 7. |
Known Issues |
The fitting entails creating virtual regions of interest (ROIs) on either side of the drawn ROI. The background fit is a straight line fitted between the mid-points of the adjacent virtual ROIs. The intensities of the fitting points are the mean of the virtual ROIs. The fit restricted the the drawn ROI. |
