 A function which measures the intensity projection of an FFT about an angular range, to determine the angular positions of the various maxima.

 FFTs can contain streaks from image components with a strong directionality. Determining the intensity maxima arising from angular projection of such features can yield angular information on such features. The script takes an FFT and sums the projected intensity as a function of rotation angle. The option to sum the whole FFT or just a central stripe running through the centre is given.
